Lakewood (Sumter, SC) running back J.C. Neal knows 4 schools he wants to officially visit this Fall. The 6-1, 183-pound tailback prospect hopes to set these official visits before the contact period begins in September.
“I haven’t set any visits, but I know where I want to make my official visits,” Neal said. “I want to visit FSU, Maryland, Georgia Tech and Auburn. I may set my visit dates before September to get it out of the way.”
Two teams noticeably missing from the official visit list are N.C. State and Virginia Tech. Because he has visited both schools twice, Neal feels he may not need to make official visits to each. “I like their coaching staff a lot,” Neal said of N.C. State. “I feel like I would be a good fit in their offense.
“What I like about Virginia Tech is that I feel at home up there.”
When asked what the deciding factor will be in his decision, Neal said “it will be just a feeling I get.” He wants to make all official visits during his senior season, and a commitment could come as early as October.
“I want to take my official visits during my season,” Neal said. “I want to have a decision by the beginning of November or maybe late October.”
J.C. has gained a lot of strength over the off-season, and says he has not lost...
