Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA) defensive end/linebacker Clint Sintim made his first official visit of his recruiting process this weekend. He went to the University of Virginia, where he has already visited once before.
“It was alright,” Sintim said of the visit. “I met the players and the coaches and had a chance to see how the system operates down there. It was nice to see the school from an overnight standpoint. I had never stayed the night in Charlottesville before. So yeah, the visit went alright.”
Virginia freshman linebacker Ahmad Brooks was Clint’s host for the weekend. Sintim had known Brooks from his playing days at Hylton High School. In addition, he attended UVA’s football banquet on Saturday night.
“Ahmad played against us in high school, so I knew him before,” Sintim said. “He was cool. I hung out with him and a lot of players this weekend. On Saturday night, we went to the football banquet. It was pretty nice.”

“My father went with me,” Sintim said. “They took him on a lot of tours and things. He enjoyed it. He likes Virginia a lot.”
Sintim, who is also considering Virginia Tech, Maryland, Ohio State, and Tennessee, has not set any other official visits but hopes to very soon. He did not think about committing to Virginia, as he wants to make more official visits.
“I don’t have any leaders,” Sintim said. “I’m not ready to commit anywhere just yet. I’m going to try to take more of my visits. I just need to talk to some people to set them up.”
