Spring Valley (SC) defensive end Mack Frost made his first official visit this weekend, as he headed to the University of Maryland. He seemed to have an excellent time in College Park, especially hanging out with the players and coaches.
“It was really good,” Frost said of his visit. “It exceeded my expectations. I met a lot of players while I was there. Scott Smith, who is a senior defensive end, was my host. I asked him questions about the coaches and how they are and the type of people they are.”
Frost did not have any favorites heading into the visit, however may have come out with one.
“I would say Maryland is my favorite right now,” Frost said. “Just because of the people there. It’s a real family atmosphere up there.”
Did the talented defensive end think about committing?
“Just a little bit,” Frost said. “I want to take all of my visits. There may be some I don’t take if I get tired though…we’ll just have to see.”
When asked if he would definitely visit Virginia, Frost said “oh yeah. I’m visiting them on the 23rd [of January]. I want to see UVA one more time.”
In addition to the UVA visit, Frost has also scheduled trips to South Carolina on January 10th, Florida on January 17th, and Auburn likely on January 30th. He is looking forward to his Christmas break and resuming his official visits in the new year.
