Top DE Set to Visit UVA

Dwayne Hendricks , one of the top defensive end prospects in the country, will make an official visit to Virginia this weekend. The 6-4, 255 pound Millville High School (NJ) prospect originally scheduled the trip as an unofficial, however changed it to an official the more comfortable he became with the UVA program.

“I’ve been down there before, and it’s a place I feel comfortable with,” Hendricks said of Virginia. He visited Virginia during the Spring of this year. “I’ve been talking a lot with the Mike Groh (Dwayne’s recruiting coach) and the rest of the coaches. Mike Groh is a cool guy. I also like communicating with Coach [Mike] London.”

Hendricks has taken two official visits thus far – to Michigan on October 25th and Iowa on November 15th. Of the two, it appears the Iowa visit stood out the most.

“Michigan was pretty good,” Hendricks said. “I like the school and they have a winning football program. It was a nice scene up there. The players hang out a lot and are really close. None of the players are from one area – they are from all over.
