Tyronne Drakeford

Notes: Drakeford will go down in history as one of the best defensive backs the Hokies have ever had. He was a 4-year letterman and 3-year starter. He led the team in interceptions from 1991-93. He was First Team All Big East in 1992 and 1993. He was drafted in the 2nd round by the 49ers in 1994.

Drakeford went to Fork Union to get exposure. He chose the Hokies over James Madison, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Clemson.
