Notes: Tate received Washington Post first-team all-metro honors for his junior season performance. In 2006, Tate caught 17 passes for 365 yards and six touchdowns. He scored 10 total touchdowns on the season - in addition to the six receiving, he had two punt returns for scores, one kick return and one rushing touchdown.

Head coach Bill McGregor: "He's just so versatile. He's about 6-3 or 6-4, 215 pounds. He has played wide receiver, running back, cornerback, safety, and he returns kick and punts. He is the type of player who has the ability to score every time he touches the ball."
