Notes:
McPhearson transferred to DeMatha for his junior season, when he played wide receiver for the first time in his career. Achieved the third-best 40 time during Maryland's summer camp in 2002, recording a 4.38 in the 40. He possesses a 38" vertical leap. McPhearson is also a terrific baseball player, and has the potential to be drafted in the 2004 MLB draft.
Coach McGregor: "Derrick has never played wide receiver before coming to us, but he just gets better and better. He's a can't miss prospect. He can really run."
NEW UPDATE: McPhearson is prepping at Fork Union Military Academy in 2004-2005.
