Deante Battle is a tough defensive back prospect who likes to hit. Nicknamed "Playboy" for his knack for making the big play, Battle accumulated 77 tackles and had 15 pass break-ups his junior season at Starr's Mill. An excellent kick returner, he compiled over 1,000 return yards his junior year. Following his impressive junior season, Battle earned first-team All-Fayettville County and Atlanta Journal-Constitution Honorable Mention honors.
