Antwine Perez

  • Athlete
  • Class of 2006
  • Camden, NJ (Woodrow Wilson)
  • 6-2, 200 lbs
  • Status: USC Commit
Notes: Perez plays quarterback and safety for Woodrow Wilson. Most schools are recruiting him as a safety on the next level. As a junior last season, Perez made 37 tackles, had 7 interceptions and forced 4 fumbles. On offense, he completed 103 of 183 passes for over 1,700 yards and 14 touchdowns. Perez earned all-conference, all-group and all-South Jersey honors for his junior year performance.

His cousin is current Tennessee Volunteers sophomore defensive end Turk McBride.

Coach Mike McBride: “His knowledge and his ability in the game, and just how big he is. He’s 6-2, 200 pounds, so he’s a big, big kid. I had [former Syracuse and current Jacksonville Jaguars safety] Donovin Darius, and he plays the game in a similar way. On the highlight film, I won’t have to tell you who Antwine Perez is because he’ll jump out at you.”
