Alonzo Coleman is the all-time leading rusher in Halifax High School history, finishing his career with over 3,300 yards. As a junior Alonzo carried the ball 158 times for 1221 yds and 18 TDs,
averaging 8 yds per carry. Has been timed in a 10.8 100 meters in track. Benches 315 and has a 35" vertical jump.
As a senior this season, Coleman broke the Halifax single season rushing mark with 1,518 yards in only seven games. He missed three games due to injury. Coleman earned second-team All-Northwest region honors as well as co-MVP of the Western Valley District.
Coleman was named Roanoke Times Sleeper Prospect of the Year following his senior campaign.
