Virginia Tech recently hosted two Junior Day events, the first of which was held last Monday night and coincided with men’s basketball’s victory over Duke. The second was over the weekend as recruits watched the Hokies notch another win over Syracuse.

To my knowledge, both events were invite-only. Anyone that was in town either already had an offer or is seriously being considered for an offer by the Virginia Tech staff. Using the magic of social media, it’s time to take a look at who visited, give you a quick update on each player and where his recruitment stands in this very early stage of the 2024 cycle.

Today, we’ll talk about the visitors for the first Junior Day against Duke. On Wednesday, we’ll talk about the guys who were in town this past weekend (I’m still accumulating that data and entering everyone into the database). In between on Tuesday will be a column on the 2023 Virginia Tech football schedule that is going to be released tonight (Monday).

Note that this isn’t necessarily a complete list of recruits who are in Blacksburg; it’s only a list of those who we can confirm visited via social media.
