Competition is something Mount Tabor (NC) safety JaDon Blair has grown quite accustomed to. It’s one reason why in addition to playing football, he runs the 100m, 200m and 4x200m relay in track. And it’s also why Blair has looked for others who share his affinity.

“My family competes at everything,” he said. “We’ll be doing a little workout, just chill with no reps. If we start doing more pushups, the other one will do more. My family, that’s just what we do. We’ll stare at each other and see who blinks first. Seeing that at my house, that’s special to me.”

Blair technically is still working from a top 10 he released in January, but that group has slimmed a bit as he’s scheduled official visits. Blair has already taken two, to Virginia Tech and Louisville, while he has more in the coming weeks to South Carolina, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida State and Penn State. A decision likely isn’t far behind.
