Virginia Tech Recruiting: Late May/Early June Visitors

Good news! I’m going on vacation starting next week, so expect the commitments to start rolling in for Virginia Tech football. Other than that, things will be quiet since on-campus visits aren’t allowed until the end of May.

Today, I’m going to walk you through the scheduled official visitors for that last weekend in May and the first weekend in June. I’ve used the 247Sports database, the On3 database and social media to accumulate this list. I’m not listing players who are already committed to Virginia Tech. For example, 2025 offensive line commit Carter Stallard, a Christiansburg native who is set to take his official on June 7.

It’s not going to be a particularly long list. As of now, it seems like the majority of Virginia Tech’s official visitors will be in town from mid-to-late June and many players haven’t quite settled on a date as of yet. We’ve got a long way to go until visits start and names will be added and subtracted. For example, running back Harry Dalton was planning an official visit to Virginia Tech in June but has since committed to USC, so I’m assuming that visit will no longer take place.

To avoid writing about a number of guys who may not end up visiting, I’m going to focus on the late May/early June visitors. Once I get back from Europe on May 24, the picture should be a lot clearer on who will and won’t take visits. Each prospect’s schedule should be just about filled up by that point. Consider today’s article the preliminary list for late May/early June. In the last week of May, I’ll be able to present you with a much more comprehensive list.
