Hokies receiver Ali Jennings is out this week after injuring his ankle against Purdue on Saturday.
Beyond that? Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry isn’t saying.
“I don’t know that yet,” Pry said at his Tuesday news conference. “I know he’s out this week which is unfortunate. It only happened two plays into the game, after the game he had in the opening week. But we’ll have to continue to evaluate his situation.”
Jennings isn’t the only one. Pry put the other notable injured Hokies players — quarterback Grant Wells (ankle), receiver Jaylin Lane (hamstring), safety Nasir Peoples, defensive end Keyshawn Burgos (elbow) and special teams gunner Cole Beck — in the same questionable boat ahead of Saturday’s game at Rutgers.
