For at least the next month, Liberty Christian (Va.) 2025 offensive lineman Easton Ware will take a recruiting break. His school’s fall football camp has begun, and for the month of August, at least, that’s his focus.

Between May and June, Ware made visits and/or camp stops at Virginia, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU, Tennessee, Clemson, Penn State, Wake Forest, Ohio State and North Carolina. Each stop helped provide some context to what he’d already seen and heard. It also helped him understand he needs far more time in his recruitment.

“The main thing is how they’re not going to help make me just better on the field necessarily, but off,” Ware said. “I want a school that will help me prepare as a football player but also for life after football. A playing career will end, but it’s if they can help me have good managing skills, be a better man and live a good life, not just football.”
