Virginia Tech picked up an offensive line commitment during HokieFest weekend, with Macon (GA) offensive lineman Web Davidson committing to the Hokies.
Davidson is a 3-star recruit who received his offer from Virginia Tech back on May 17th and made his first visit to Blacksburg back on June 23-25. He returned to Blacksburg this weekend for HokieFest, a gathering of recruits, and committed to the Hokies.

Davidson lists himself at 6-7, 296 on his Twitter profile. 247Sports has him listed at 6-6, 291, while On3 has him at 6-5, 240 (likely a very dated listing).
Davidson has reported offers dating back to December 2021 from Power 5 schools Michigan State (12/2/2021), Arkansas (5/20/2022), Mississippi State (11/12/2022), Georgia Tech (12/28/2022), and most recently Virginia Tech (5/17/2023). He also lists offers from UAB, UCF, Coastal Carolina, UConn, Liberty, JMU, and others.
