Playing high school football, Portal (Ga.) 2024 athlete Amir Jackson has figured in more as a wide receiver and has played a bit of defensive back. Playing at a school of fewer than 500 students, he’s had to be versatile.

As his highlight film has made its rounds, however, the growing consensus from college coaches is that Jackson projects more as a tight end. And with that projection, along with his 6-foot-5, 210-pound frame, have come scholarship offers. Jackson now counts 12 offers, with Florida State, Virginia Tech, Florida and Kentucky as the most recent.

Jackson said he’s still unsure of any standouts, especially as more options filter in. But he said he’s been appreciative of the feedback he’s received thus far.
