Currently there’s already a decision in place for Patrick Henry (Va.) athlete Bodie Kahoun. In September, he gave a verbal commitment to a partial scholarship to play lacrosse at Ohio State. But recently he’s heard more from his other sport: football.

On Monday, Virginia Tech offered Kahoun a full scholarship for football, his first for the sport. It’s made Kahoun re-evaluate his future college aspirations, though it’s yet to change his decision from last fall.

“I’m verbally committed, but as of right now I’m 100% committed (to Ohio State),” he said. “That’s where I’d go if I signed today. With football, though, I’m looking for more opportunities coming. I’ve been talking to them about it. But as of right now, I keep telling them I’m 100% committed. I just have more opportunities coming at me. And they’ve been nothing but respectful and nice.”
