It seems like multiple aspects are coming together positively for Gulliver Prep (Fla.) 2024 four-star quarterback Davi Belfort. He’s nearly back after he sustained an injury to his throwing arm in late October, and Belfort is narrowing down his recruiting focus with a decision timeline following a top seven release this fall.

“I’m close to 100%,” he said. “I’m pretty much there, I’m just not rushing anything. We’re just taking our time, to make sure it’s 120%. In two weeks, I’ll get back into the routine. I’m doing a lot of rehab, working out with Tom Brady’s guys, the TB 12 team. I’m feeling excited about where I am.”

Belfort, No. 141 in the 2024 Rivals250, announced a top seven in October of Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, Penn State, Michigan State and Virginia Tech. He saw a pair of those schools, Florida and Michigan State, for games this fall and made his first trip to Blacksburg this past weekend. With more visits coming, he’s also eyeing a decision over the next few months.
