It’s a bit early in the recruiting game, but St. Michael (Va.) cornerback Remy Moss has already gotten an early taste of the process. The class of 2025 defender already has been verbally offered scholarships to Virginia Tech, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Campbell.

This fall, Moss has tried to get acquainted with a few of those options and others. It’s been about getting familiar with recruiting, but also seeing what appeals to him. Moss is far from advancing into his recruitment, but he is taking plenty of mental notes.

“Honestly, I just look at the scheme and the defense,” he said. “I like to play a lot of man to man, and when I go to college, that’s what I want to play, too. I look at the facilities. If I don’t feel like I’m at home, then I won’t be there.”
