In just a few weeks, Thomas Jefferson (Va.) wide receiver Aziah Johnson has gone from relatively unknown to a prospect with multiple Power Five scholarship offers.

Johnson now claims seven offers after Michigan State joined in on Wednesday. In some ways, it’s been a lot to take in. Johnson’s highlight tape has made its rounds among college coaches and he made a few gameday visits this fall that have gotten his name out. But even with more options, Johnson said he’s still going through his recruitment with a few desired characteristics in mind.

“I look at the education, the campus, of course,” he said. “I want to live in a great environment. The football team comes last. I look at that last. I want to be in a great program, but education is more important. I want to major in biology and be a radiologist.”
