There was only one camp that Phoebus (Va.) three-star defensive end Anthony ‘Trey’ Reddick attended this summer.
On June 26, Reddick participated in Virginia Tech’s prospect camp. He already had a scholarship offer, which came from the Hokies in late February. Overall, Reddick now has eight, including Maryland, Boston College and Duke. But now, it’s a matter of sifting through that initial list, as well as those he’s interested in moving forward.
“First, it’s how they run their defense,” Reddick said. “Education-wise and location and the staff, the team, I want to get a good look at all that, too. I just want a coach I can make a connection with, to where we’re more than just player/coach.”
Reddick, Rivals.com’s No. 8 player in Virginia for 2024, said he’s made a couple of trips to Blacksburg. Overall, he likes what he’s seen and heard from Virginia Tech.
