Gosnell originally committed to Ohio State, where TE coach Kevin Wilson is a pretty good one. The current Hokie committed without ever visiting, though, and after thinking about it, he realized he didn’t want to be so far from home. Most of his playing was done at East Surry High School in North Carolina, a very good smaller (it recently bumped up from 1A to 2A) program northwest of Winston-Salem.
