For two weeks this month, Washington-Liberty (Va.) 2023 defensive lineman Elijah Hughes’ schedule is jam-packed. He’s already taken two visits, with two more to go, starting this weekend.

Hughes began his stretch of visits last weekend with an official one to Virginia Tech. On Wednesday and Thursday, he camped at Stanford, and this weekend he’ll officially visit Maryland. An official visit to Duke is on tap next weekend.

Hughes admits it’s been a lot to take in already. His Stanford visit resulted in a scholarship offer from the Cardinal to bring his total to 15. And through multiple flight cancellations and delays, Hughes pushed his visit with the Terps back a day. Still, he said he hasn’t lost sight of the goal, to find his college destination.
