Like many other high school football players, Maiden (NC) three-star wide receiver Chris Culliver has used the past few weeks of the spring open recruiting period to get in a few in-person visits.

Culliver, Rivals.com’s No. 17 player in North Carolina for the 2023 class, spent last weekend at Virginia Tech, following a weekend at Clemson. This weekend he has two more visits planned to NC State and North Carolina as he works to narrow down his list of possible destinations. As for when that choice will be made, Culliver said he doesn’t see it happening soon.

“I’ll figure something out after this weekend, like where I’m going next,” he said. “I feel like I’m in a good spot right now. No decision anytime soon, but I’m just waiting for that time to come.”
