Until this past fall, Norcross (Ga.) three-star wide receiver Nakai Poole had played only sparingly. Now, though, it seems that the word on him is out.

Poole now claims 26 scholarship offers, including from Utah, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and just a few weeks ago, Virginia Tech. He’s only taken one visit since the first of the year, in January to North Carolina. But Poole has a spate of visits coming, which he hopes will help him get a better handle on his recruitment.

“I’m just looking for, on theses visits, a school that feels like home,” he said. “I want to see myself playing there. Not looking really at location, but I want to look at playing style and just the culture around the school. That’s a big deal.”
