Today turned out to be the day for Latrell Neville. That day originally was planned for April 18 for Virginia Tech’s spring game.

Hightower (TX) 2021 four-star wide receiver Latrell Neville had initially planned to visit the Hokies two weeks from now. And during that visit, he had planned to announce the decision he’d made weeks before. On Sunday, however, Neville decided it was time. He announced that he’d committed to Virginia Tech.

“It was an overtime type thing. I knew for a while, but me and Coach (Justin Fuente) had been talking,” Neville said. “We were talking about officials getting pushed back, how I was supposed to take an official at the spring game and commit, but it’s like, why wait anymore?”
