We’re 10 months away from the December signing period for the 2021 class, but that doesn’t stop us from taking a look at Virginia Tech’s current roster and projecting ahead to see what this class may look like.  Today we’ll start with the offense, and in a later article move ahead to the defense.

Note that seniors during the 2020 season don’t have an impact on the numbers for the 2021 class.  We only list players who are eligible to return for 2021, and for them we list their year of eligibility as it is projected to be in 2021, not 2020.

By the end of the article, you might be wondering why I didn’t include too many names in this article, it’s because 233 different players are already listed with offers from Virginia Tech for the 2021 class.  That’s a lot, and some positions are worse than others.  On the offensive side of the ball, Tech is listed with 38 different wide receivers with offers.

We keep talking about how Tech’s recruiting staff is spread too thin, and how there aren’t enough staff members to keep up with everybody the Hokies are recruiting.  Well, the same goes for TSL when it comes to recruiting. There’s no way we can keep up with 233 guys or have any way of knowing exactly who the Hokies want, or exactly how they feel about each prospect, without a direct line to the coaching staff, and lots of hours spent maintaining that information.
