It’s early enough that Armwood (Fla.) 2021 three-star quarterback Cam’Ron Ransom hasn’t put too much stock in favorites, or even making a commitment. But he’s also not waiting to get a good look at some of his early options.

Ransom, Rivals.com’s No. 8 dual-threat quarterback for 2021, has offers from Virginia Tech, Boston College, Kentucky, Central Florida, South Florida and Southern Mississippi. At the start of the current recruiting contact period, Ransom visited three potential options, but he’s likely months away from any next step in his recruitment.

“I’m just trying to find the school that’s for me and one I can depend on in the future,” Ransom said. “I really don’t care what kind of offense they run, but it would be nice if we ran the same offense I do now. I want to have a good relationship with the offensive coordinator, including the head coach.”
