The interest continues to grow for Butler (NC) 2020 three-star offensive guard Anthony Carter. Because of that, Carter is getting a feel for some of his options by talking to coaches and taking visits. Until the incoming interest dies down, he’s not slowing down his recruitment.           

Carter now counts five offers, from Appalachian State, North Carolina, Duke, East Carolina and Kent State. More schools are getting in touch, giving him a sense of more to come.           

“I’d say education is first, then I want it to be like a brotherhood, more like I’m having fun than just a job and not having fun,” Carter said. “I feel like my high school has prepared me for whatever the college is doing, so scheme doesn’t matter too much.”
