Even as one sport has concluded for the season and another begins, McCallie (Tenn.) 2020 three-star defensive end Jay Hardy hasn’t lost sight of his future. He took a pair of unofficial visits this past weekend, as his offer total also continues to grow.           

Now at 10 offers, Hardy visited Virginia Tech on Friday and Vanderbilt on Saturday. Both gave him a better sense of some of his options, but Hardy is far from any type of decision, though he still knows what he’s looking for.           

“I want good academics and a big-time place to play,” he said. “I want good coaches. Most schools have what I want, academic-wise. It’s going to be either engineering or architecture.”
