Particularly for a team that was 6-0, Myers Park’s (NC) 39-22 loss to Butler (NC) stung. But 2020 four-star safety Cameron Roseman-Sinclair didn’t want his teammates to dwell on the loss, and told them as much.           

“All I can say is I’d rather lose now more than later,” he said. “You taste what it feels like to have an ‘L’ on your back. No one likes to have that next to your name.”           

Roseman-Sinclair, No. 75 in the 2020 Rivals100, hasn’t dealt with many losses, on the field or in his recruitment. He’s up to eight offers, after Tennessee joined in last month. This past weekend, Roseman-Sinclair took his first game visit of the season, which has lessened the urgency of his decision. Still, it’s likely not that far off.
