When narrowing his focus, Wekiva (Fla.) 2019 three-star defensive lineman Norell Pollard has considered a number of factors. Warm weather is all he knows, but the cold isn’t a huge deterrent.

“I haven’t been in any real deal snow,” Pollard said. “I don’t care about the weather, though. If it’s cold, I’ll get used to it.”

Pollard, Rivals.com’s No. 47 strongside defensive end and No. 84 player in Florida, now has 23 offers. But on Tuesday, he narrowed that list down to eight: Virginia Tech, Central Florida, Rutgers, Duke, West Virginia, Indiana, Louisville and NC State. Pollard has more visits coming, and that should slice that list even further.
