As a sophomore last season, Ensworth (Tenn.) four-star defensive end/linebacker Tyler Baron recorded 50.5 tackles, 8.5 for loss, to go with 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. It was an impressive stat line, made all the more impressive since he was not at full health.

In the summer of 2017, Baron suffered a torn labrum. Still, he played all season and in January, had surgery. Baron remains on the mend. Baron’s determination and grit while injured, however, have helped lead to 15 scholarship offers, with the recent additions of Louisville and Maryland.
