The evolution of Lord Botetourt (Va.) three-star offensive lineman Jesse Hanson continues. And it’s not just as a lineman. It’s an approach that includes what he’s doing away from the field, and his mindset.

Hanson (6-foot-4, 290 pounds), Rivals.com’s No. 13 guard and No. 8 player in Virginia for 2019, is up to nine offers, the most recent from North Carolina. He’s also become an accomplished wrestler, and with his recruitment, he’s continued to learn what he needs to be shopping for.

As a heavyweight, Hanson said he’s grown to appreciate wrestling. It’s helped him in football and also satisfied his drive for competition.
