A new era of Virginia Tech football began on Wednesday. Scot Loeffler, Jeff Grimes and Aaron Moorehead went through their first practice as VT coaches, and there seemed to be a new sense of urgency on the offensive side of the ball.
Even one of the other assistant coaches admitted that there’s a different feel this year.
“There is certainly a sense of urgency in everything, whether it be a meeting, a walk through, practice,” Shane Beamer said. “There were certainly some tight rear ends amongst some of the players, and the coaches too.”
Kyshoen Jarrett , as well as a few other players, noted the difference in intensity, and the different atmosphere that it creates.
