CJ Reavis Talks Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech has been C.J. Reavis’ favorite for the better part of this year.  In a TSL article in June, the Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) junior safety/linebacker called Tech “the team to beat.”

Three months later, Frank Beamer and company remain in good standing with the talented athlete.

“Yeah.  A little,” Reavis answered when asked if Tech still had the edge over the field, which includes offers from Boston College, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State and Virginia.  Virginia Tech was the first school to offer, doing so in the early months of 2012.

The Hokies were successful in recruiting Thomas Dale in the class of 2012, signing safety Desmond Frye and persuading safety Quinton Taylor to come as a recruited walk-on.  Reavis spent some time in Blacksburg this summer with Frye.
