Accompanied by his parents, Marietta (GA) junior quarterback Anthony Jennings headed north one week ago for a pair of college tours.  Virginia Tech was up first.

“It was a great experience,” the 6’2″, 205-pound signal caller said of his time in Blacksburg.  “I got to meet the players, interact with the coaches, and see how the quarterback coach coaches.  It had all the things you look for.  I feel like it’s a great place.”

Tech head coach Frank Beamer “said I’m a great player and he would love to have me on the team,” Jennings said.

Player-wise, Jennings spent most of his time with Tech’s quarterbacks, including starter Logan Thomas.
