Last week, reports surfaced that Palm Beach Gardens (FL) offensive tackle Avery Young had narrowed his list to six. Gators head coach Chris Davis confirmed the reports, saying that the 6’6″, 270-pound senior is down to “Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Virginia Tech.”

What’s next for the standout senior?

“From here, he’ll be in the process of setting and making visits,” Davis said. “Hopefully he’ll have the chance to visit all of the places on his list. He has already taken an unofficial to Florida. He told me he’d like to visit all of the other schools.”

No visits have been scheduled as of yet, and it seems likely that most, if not all, of the trips will come post season.
