Hokies, Hoos to Kick Off at Noon

The Virginia Tech athletic department has announced that the kickoff for the Virginia Tech-Virginia game next Saturday will be at noon. The game will be shown on the ACC Network.

UVa enters the game at 4-7 overall, 1-6 in the ACC. The Hokies have won nine in a row and are 9-2 overall, 7-0 in the ACC.

The Hokies are Coastal Division champions, regardless of the outcome. Virginia Tech defeated Miami 31-17 to lock up the Coastal championship, and the Hokies have a chance to become the first team to go undefeated in ACC play since Florida State did it in 2000.

Virginia Tech leads the series 49-37-5 and has won six in a row and 10 of the last 11. The Hokies destroyed the Cavaliers 42-13 in Charlottesville last season.

A list of affiliates showing the game will be released later this week on theacc.com.
