Kickoff time for next Saturday’s Virginia Tech-NC State game has been set for 3:30pm. The game will be televised by ABC.
NC State is a perfect 4-0 on the season. Their latest win was a 45-28 pasting of Georgia Tech on the road. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns, and the Wolfpack offense racked up 527 yards of total offense for the game.
For the season, Wilson has completed 59.9% of his passes for 1,112 yards, with 11 touchdowns and just one interception. It will be a stiff challenge for a rapidly improving Virginia Tech defense.
If the Hokies manage to defeat NC State, they’ll be 3-2 facing a three-game stretch against teams they should handle easily: Central Michigan, Wake Forest and Duke.
