Hampton (VA) quarterback David Watford has made his college choice. The only thing left for the 6-1, 185-pound rising senior star to do is to reveal it, which is exactly what he plans to do on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Peninsula All-Star Football Camp on the campus of Christopher Newport University.
“I’m just basically waiting to tell everybody, to let everybody else know,” Watford said. “I’ve told the coaches. I’m just keeping it quiet until I announce.”
Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia officially offered the Crabbers signal caller, whose decision came down to two of the three schools.
“It came down to Virginia Tech and UVa,” said Watford.
