Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD) linebacker Nick Forbes has taken a significant step in his decision-making process. The 6-1, 225-pound rising senior, one of the top linebacker recruits in the East, has narrowed his list of college options from double digits to single digits.

“I narrowed it down to six schools, those being Cal, Duke, Pitt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wake Forest,” Forbes said.

“I sat down and talked to my mom and she agreed that all these schools I selected are great schools, both academically and football-wise, and right now it’s in the process of seeing if I fit there and be happy at the place. Football and academics check out with all the schools, so now it is more of a personal thing.”
