The ACC has released broadcast information and game times for 17 football games involving conference teams, including Virginia Tech. Game times and broadcast plans for Virginia Tech’s games against Nebraska and Marshall, previously unknown, are now set.
Virginia Tech has known for a while that the Hokies’ opener against Alabama on September 5th in the Georgia Dome will be at 8:00 pm and will be broadcast nationally on ABC.
On Thursday, the ACC and Virginia Tech announced that Tech’s September 19th home game against Nebraska will be played at 3:30 and will be broadcast regionally on ABC. The game will also be televised to most of the nation on ESPN2.
It was also announced that Virginia Tech’s home matchup with Marshall will be played at 1:30 pm and will be shown on ESPN 360. (See ESPN360.com.)
