Community High School (Richmond, VA) forward Travis McKie , one of the top 2010 class prospects in the country, was in Charlottesville on Saturday on an unofficial visit to the University of Virginia. The 6-6, 185-pound junior discussed his latest experience at UVa, reflected on several other recent visits and updated where his recruitment may go from here.

“It was a chance to see the campus again. I want to see all of the schools I’m considering more than once to try to get a good feel,” McKie said, recalling his visit to Virginia. “I saw a practice. It was a nice, hard practice. They worked a lot on skill stuff. I met with the strength coach again. I met with the academics head. It was nice to meet her to get a feel for how they run things there. I went to the UNC football game and got a feel for the fans. A lot of people I didn’t know knew me. One kid yelled out ‘ Travis McKie come to Virginia!’.”

Having now visited several times, how does the Richmond standout feel he fits in at UVa?
