More showers moved through the area on Friday night, and as a result the ACC Softball Tournament has been pushed back yet again. It is now a single elimination tournament, and the Hokies will finally get to play again on Saturday at 2pm.
Virginia and Maryland had already been eliminated from the tournament, and thanks to the rain, Georgia Tech and Boston College are finished as well. That leaves just four teams remaining.
The Hokies will take on Florida State this afternoon at 2pm. Tech took two out of three games against FSU during the regular season. UNC will play NC State immediately following the Tech-FSU game. The winners will face off in the championship game tomorrow at noon.
The championship game will be broadcast live on FSN South, SunSports, Comcast SportsNet and NESN. Check your local listings.
