Virginia Tech has announced that ESPN will televise this Saturday’s game against the University of Virginia. The game will kick off at noon and is the 89th meeting between the two schools.
The matchup pits #8 Virginia Tech against #16 Virginia in the most highly anticipated contest in the history of the rivalry. The winner of the game will clinch the ACC Coastal Division and will advance to play Atlantic Division winner Boston College in the ACC Championship Game in Jacksonville, Florida on December 1st. The ACC champion will play in the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida on Thursday, January 3rd at 8:00 pm.
The Hokies have won 7 of the last 8 games in the series and lead the series overall, 46-37-5.
