Edison (Alexandria, VA) junior wide receiver Ben Barber made unofficial visits to Penn State and Virginia last month. He’ll make visits to other programs in the ensuing months, including a trip to Rutgers for a Nike Camp on May 13th. The 5-10, 190-pound prospect is anxious to show what he can do in New Jersey in two weeks.

“I’m happy to go there,” Barber said. “I’m originally from New Jersey, so I’ll see some family and I’m excited to see them. I’m going there to do what I love, and that’s to play football. I’m ready for the camp.”

Barber enjoyed both of his unofficial visits last month. The visit to State College was for a spring practice.

“I liked Penn State a lot, but they haven’t offered,” Barber said.
