4-star linebacker Navorro Bowman has been high on Virginia Tech for quite some time, but this past weekend was his first ever visit to Blacksburg. It was a key trip for Bowman, as the Suitland (Forestville, MD) star expects to enroll in college in January of 2006.

“It lived up to my expectations,” Bowman said of the Virginia Tech experience. “I had a great time.
The game wasn’t what they wanted it to be, but the loss didn’t discourage me. I still think high of Virginia Tech.”

Hosted by fellow linebacker Xavier Adibi, Bowman felt like he fit in with the players and coaches. Seeing Adibi play also gave him an idea of where he fits into Tech’s defense.

“It felt great,” Bowman replied when asked how he felt with the players and coaches. “I gelled right in. Everybody was upset after the loss, but the team was great. Xavier’s a cool guy and he plays kind of like the way I play, so I could see myself fitting into the scheme. I enjoyed myself. Virginia Tech is not a bad place to go to school.”
