Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) 5-star tailback Toney Baker did make the trip to Charlottesville for the Maryland game. He had been to Charlottesville once before for the Spring game, but this was his first real game experience. What did he think?

“It was awesome,” Baker said. “I had a great time. We arrived a little late but we still got to see every bit of the game. They had great fans. [The fans] really know the game. They were great people.

“We stayed afterwards, so I had the chance to see some recruits. I met Eugene Monroe. He’s a monster…that’s all I’ve got to say. We talked some. He seemed like a good guy.”

Baker and his parents will make a return trip to UVa this weekend for the Miami game. He wants to see more than what he was able to see on Saturday.
